Congrats on the two wins!

I'd call it a solid win. Patience is one of the biggest keys i've found to playing heads up -- i've played a lot of games where people get into an uncomfortably low chipstack and instead of being patient and waiting for an opening, they roll the dice at the first possible opportunity that looks half good, which generally isn't. It looks like both of these games you somewhat ran into that.

Pocket 4's aren't necessarily an awful hand, but I don't want to be playing heads up, on the shortstack, and put myself in a situation where I may possibly have to rely on the luck of flopping a set.

You totally also did cleanly what i've been running into trouble with -- finishing off your opponent.
