Converter wont work for this hand

Villian is a 22/0 over 27 hands.
Is this too aggro?

I call, usually showdown and go nuts if I improve.

People in these games give way too much action to want to play a big pot on the flop here. You're pushing a small/no edge now at the expense of stacking him with a lock.

Top pair + FD isn't nearly as good as bottom or second pair + flush draw typically because you can improve to trips or two pair a lot to win where as with top pair hitting trips is no good. Your kicker also sucks and I doubt he folds any Q. I would just call but pushing isn't bad, just very borderline EV wise.

*nod* The more your opponent sucks, the more you want to play turns and rivers in spots like this rather than flipping 2 buy-in coins and trying to push guys who don't raise much off hands.

yaaaaa i figured.

at the time I felt that my hand was much too valuable to just call, I figured that it wouldnt be bad for me to get more chips in. I figured that he would just call on the flop anywho.

but then he reraised and the pot ballooned to to a size where shoving wuldnt be bad. So then i just shoved, seeing no remaining reason to just call.

Was my initial thought that incorrect if we were to assume that villian doesnt reraise?
