25/20. steals 55% over only 20 hands he cud steal with. about 200 hands overall on him.

Hows my line? I think its standard up until river where he bets 42->46 pot. I opt to shove on him since a call seems a bad play.

I think theres alot of extra money to be gotten from these moves and Id be interested in some general thoughts on these spots too. Just how important is it to actually rep a hand compared to just scaring your opp with a big bet.

Also how did I play it in your opinion.

$1/$2 No Limit Holdem
5 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG ($498.75)
CO ($233.85)
BTN ($203.85)
Hero (SB) ($200.00)
BB ($194.10)

Pre-flop: ($3, 5 players) Hero is SB
2 folds, BTN raises to $6, Hero calls $5, BB calls $4

Flop: ($18, 3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, BTN bets $14, Hero calls $14, BB folds

Turn: ($46, 2 players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

River: ($46, 2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $42, Hero raises to $180
Jman: every time the action is to you, it's an opportunity for you to make the perfect play.

i would 3bet 88 preflop here. with mid pairs, it's more +EV to put yourself HU with initiative and shallower stacks than to play 2-3 way pot OOP to everybody. Sauce says in his 200NL vid that with JJ generally your best outcome is everybody folding before the flop, especially when ur OOP.

river c/r seems really bad because QQ/KK/AA/AK have to be heavily discounted from your range. also what 7x hands would you call out of the small blind with? it looks like you have exactly A7s, maybe JTcc.

I would never do this here for a few reasons.

1) I think once villain checks back the A turn (instead of betting it/bluffing it) he probably has a hand a very high percentage of the time.

2) After his river sizing, that hand that I think he has (based on point 1) is now a lot stronger. I wouldn't be surprised to see K's full, Q's full, AK etc here some of the time. As well as AQ or KQ sometimes too. I'm not even sure KQ will find a fold since clubs bricked.

First I was like "Isn't villains line Ax or QQ a lot?."

Then I was like "Is that A really such a good card for villain to bluff?", you could be c/c-ing like AJ/AQ on the flop....but you would vbet the river and you checked, so you range is weak and he can bluff again.
(not sure if he thinks like this of course)

And then I was like you were nog closing the action preflop or on the flop, so you're not having AJ/AQ, and I'm back at "Isn't villains line Ax or QQ a lot?". With the betsizing weiging it more to strength.

You're repping QQ...but are you really repping 777?

Conclusion I make is that it's not good anyways.
