Villain and I have been tangling and the most recent hand was me calling him down with AJ on AT6 w/FD vs his 66. We’re both probably something like 24/20, his vpip might be a bit higher than mine but I haven’t caught him out of line so far. He hasn’t been calling my 3-bets much at all but I’d guess he’s opening up his calling range with a few hands that can flop big as well as the usual range here with SB vs Btn.

What’s your plan for the hand?

$400 USD NL Texas Hold'em - Monday, January 14, 15:27:20 ET 2008
Table Table 127028 (Real Money)
Seat 1 is the button
Total number of players : 6
Seat 1: aabluffer5 ( $766.40 USD )
Seat 3: areuenraged ( $418 USD )
Seat 4: pastoren1111 ( $494.20 USD )
Seat 5: PokerTheos2 ( $695.40 USD )
Seat 2: HERO ( $792 USD )
Seat 6: ZoMgItZaTrAp ( $400 USD )
HERO posts small blind [$2 USD].
areuenraged posts big blind [$4 USD].

** Dealing down cards **

Dealt to HERO
PokerTheos2 folds.
ZoMgItZaTrAp folds.
aabluffer5 raises [$14 USD]
HERO raises [$54 USD]
areuenraged folds.
aabluffer5 calls [$42 USD]

** Dealing Flop ** (107$)

Hero… is wondering about different possible 3-street plans.
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

If he repops the flop we have 0 FE so i dont like bet/3b. If he doesn't raise though, I'd c/c the turn and c/c river and expect to win a lot of the time even if we don't hit our flush. I think your going to get floated more than your going to get worse to call a two barrel.
Check out the new blog!!!

yeah bet/3bet kinda seems like overkill that deep against this guy. I like the idea of betting flop, c/c turn and sometimes river unimproved.
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Can offer RB deals on most sites, PM me.

i'd also bet the flop. i might c/r the turn if he calls, since he he rarely has a better hand if he just calls the flop with deep stacks, and he might bet-fold with KJ and worse. calling the turn makes sense too though.

I don't think its great.. but I don't mind it.. depending on the dynamic of how they have been playing.

I'd prefer a more polarized range though.

I like the preflop 3-bet more than the idea of bet/3-betting this flop though. The flop looks nice and all, but anything that would continue in this hand after a 3-bet on the flop will be 2pair or better and we likely have no FE.

I like the proposed line of b/c, c/c and c/c or c/f river unimproved depending on our read/feel. I dont think many players are 3-street bluffing on this board, after we call flop and turn.

I like it 200BB deep against his raising range.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

giving him the root beer would work much better on a lower flop. i dont think he is very likely to float here, he could raise obviously but he has a hand way too much
