Could be a lot of hands and if he is usually passive post flop I would fold. But I usually call in spot like this and then curse myself afterwards. But I enclose a sample of a hand I played last night. I called the turn push because I didn't think that a hand that is beating me would push the turn.

Poker Room skin
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
5 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $32.05
CO: $40.45
Button: $68.55
SB: $33.20
Hero: $252.85

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is BB with
UTG calls, CO (poster) checks, Button calls, SB folds, Hero (poster) checks.

Flop: ($4.5, 4 players)
Hero bets $3.5, 2 folds, Button calls.

Turn: ($11.5, 2 players)
Hero bets $8, Button raises all-in $64.05, Hero calls.

River: ($139.6, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $139.6)

Results:
Final pot: $139.6
Button shows AD AC
Hero shows 4H 6H

stack sizes for hand 2 makes it a relatively easy call.

I've seen this a couple of times in different threads, so I'll ask in this one.

Why do you play small suited gapped connectors, and then not play them when they hit? I get that theres aggression being shown, but surely playing these only become +EV by playing big pots when they hit? Am I missing something?

Yes this one only hit 2 pair, but thats fairly good for this hand.
Just playing to improve.

given a limped pot, and no read villain overplays stuff, i think it's a thin call at best. set/97/57 all fit more than like 64. i'd prob fold it.
in a raised pot i would play for stacks though.

Because we're in the big blind? As it is 2 pair tends to be a medium but not huge pot sized hand in nitty 100+NL games. (Its probably better again in aggressive high stakes games).

In hand 1 Youve shown alot of strength (and you started in the BB so you could have any random 2 pair+). All you beat is a disgustingly slow played AA or a bluff that probably isnt comming too often and you are getting pretty poor odds. Fold.

Hand 2 is a pretty easy call given stack sizes. Theres lots of overpairs he could have and you can always suck out.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?

For the results oriented, I ran down my time halfway hovering over the fold button, but then thought like silu_nz and thought bigger hands would want to extract value a bit slower, then I hovered over the Fold button a bit more, then I thought "Fuck it, this is 50NL, FUCK YOU VILLAIN" and called.

Nice reading Pelion, he had the worst played KK ever.
