Villain is laggy and aggro. He kind of sucks imo. Calls too much in general.

HU? without more read than lagg, kind of sucks i dont see how we can call but if youve been playing HU for a while you might have a better feel for the situation that could practically make this a snap. it is somewhat hard for him to have much but there is the T8 and the Qxss which both seem pretty reasonable.

Ha ha this.

Given his description that he is laggy and calls too much he could have called down with some J10/QJ hand and being pretty aggro just shoved that river to represent some kind of FH monster.
We can rule out KK/QQ from his range as he is lagg and would probablly 3bet them pre. And it is unlikely he has 1010 and floated (im presuming he 3bets 1010 pre too).
So he could have 88 but that is mad unlikely too, so I feel he had to have flopped the nuts or is just making a total play here with a hand like QJ/J10/109 hand? 810 does make sense or even 89 if he was planning to make a move?

How fast did he shove the river? If he called, called then shoved pretty fast im normally snap calling this off. However does he expect us to fold after triple barreling this board? His range is so polarized here that feeling and timing really comes into a hand like this, I mean if you have been runnin him over some and you know he was ready to make a move etc

I folddd here and wouldn't even value bet the river (bluff the river?)

He's c/bombed my river bets before, and he always seems to have the goods when he does it. This is also a pretty bad spot for him to be bluffing I think, after you fire three barrels.

ya normally the 8 on the flop remains a diamond throughout the hand

i guess we were playing so loose and aggressive that even the deck didn't know what the fuck was going on

But for real, I think with villain description of calling too much and your aggressive image you should bet the river.

I don't know how good/bad this player is and how good/bad the general player is at 500NL. But I would think he has J8 or a flush that was on earlier streets, too often. It's not like your bet/folding range is that big is it? (in that he can bluff raise much)

also fwiw this was the kind of match where almost every decision from both of us was insta on every street, including my riv bet and his riv shove in the OP hand

not sure why, I just play that way sometimes

If you're thinking of calling, I'm assuming river is a value bet and not a bluff. I think it's too thin, no?

I"d like it better if we had the straight or at least 8x or something.

fold, I think the fact that it is an aggro, even spewy aggro match isnt close to enough to want to call.

top secret screenname obv!

you ll know me as the person who tried to bluff you off of your QQ on KQJ with a flushdraw on flop after I 3 barelled including a 2x pot overbet shove on the river that completed a flush 200bb's deep at 5-10. You called and I showed down like 6 hi.

Trasgu or Tresgeu? There are two people with similar names, i gues u are tresgeu?

Aye i recall that hand, although pretty sure u had 5 high not 6 high. Not got that hand on any database anymore.

Presumably ALEXOS is ownursoul or trans4m? judging from the fact a quick scan of his posts seems to begin and end with calling people terrible.

Unfortunatly, in my case, his statement is largely accurate, but hey i try hard!
