villian is 19.5/15/5.5 over 90 hands, 3bet 8%.

i think calling the flop is best because literally the only hand im behind in his range is QJ. The turn i really wanted to find a fold but felt like he could still be doing this with KJ/KT/JT. idk, i was kind of lost on the turn, and i even wanted to raise the flop until i thought for a sec. comments on flop and turn please.

one bit of history i forgot from earlier in the session is that i 3barreled 66 on 45J82r when i was SB and villain was BB when the seat between us was empty. He called down and tank called the river w/ JTo.

Definately not folding the turn, although the J isn't the best card in the world obviously. Usually when villains make a weakish bet like this after check raising i find them to be on the weaker end of the spectrum.

How big is the stat sample size? If he really is 3betting 8% then I cant really see not going with the hand, as there is basically no hand in his cold calling range that beats us.

Lets see river action.

the sample is only over 90 hands. And the only hands im really worried about on the turn are KQ/JQ that im behind, but the small be kind of threw me off.

Why is calling the turn good? Honest question. Like KJ is the only hand we beat, very rarely KT given stats. I guess he could have air here but I mean this seems like a really shitty flop to go apeshit on.

thsese boards have seemingly become worse and worse to bluff at ... you just get called so light since everybody thinks it's a good bluffing opportunity. i wouldn't be surprised to see villain show up w/ something like AJ tbh. I think you are basically always behind on this turn and that it's definitely a fold.

i also think shoving the flop lets him play perfectly against you.

i would have been calling the flop to induce more action on non-J/Q/K turns, and probably flatting all streets.

back in the day, people used to get it in w/ KQ/KJ/JT/QT/AJ/AQ in this spot, so b/3b was the standard line, but people just dont make the mistake of calling off w/ those hands anymore which is why you basically have to play this more passively.

call flop and fold the turn!

call flop, fold turn is def. best here. i spaz leveled myself into a call because it was BU vs BB and villain knew my range was pretty huge OTB. should have folded for sure.

results:

river was a beatiful T and villain shoved the rest of his stack into me. i ran super goot in august.
