Hand 1: I don't think it's likely that any hand that beats you checks on the river, so I like it. Villain could have 2pr here or JT, trying to pick off a c-bet. In fact villain's entire line smacks of trying to put a move on you, then giving up on the river. I think the river check is rarely a trapping move.
Hand 2: This one's harder to decide. I think reads help a lot here, but against an unknown I think the fold is good. Villain could have a bare 9 on the flop, but I think the minraise on the turn is enough info to fold.

Hand 1, nh.
Hand 2, I'd check the turn and either c/c or c/r ai depending on how much he bets.

i'm not sure about this hand 1...
without a read the preflop limp-call and the min. check-raise on the flop looks to me like a very strong hand - could be QJ, 99, TT or 910 but KQ is also possible.
with villains bet on turn i would exclude KQ from his possible holdings. he would have tried to take it down on the flop against a c-bet and check/fold the turn.
the check on the river could also be an attempt to check-raise all-in with a boat if he puts you on someting like TPGK.
so my line would be a call on the turn and check the river down. i don't like the river bet, because most of the time you get called, you will be beaten.
as i'm only playing 1-2, 2-4 NL 6max this hand could be way above my skill level and i'm very interested in your thoughts as you played the hand.
And most importand...
what was the result

Hand 1: TT. I felt beat after the flop c/minr but I couldn't fold Is the river push standard? I guess it is at lower levels..
Hand 2: Villain shows 55, strange bluff. Checking the turn is better I guess.
