i dont like raising the first one because we dont know what to do when they shove.

i like calling the 2nd one because people slowplay too much, and when they dont slowplay they usually dont bet so small on turn

In hand 2 are we donking the river or putting him on a bruff?

Hand 2 is the kind of situation where I usually go into calldown mode. He's bruffing enough to make it profitable to seek a showdown, but if you spring to life with a donk bet at any point villain will often look at his holdings and make a decision - the outcome of which probably doesn't help you any. That's my feeling anyway.

Hand 1 - calling is marginally good, raising is bad. UTG is just tight enough to make his call potentially worrisome, but it could also mean he's got a worse club draw (oh sweet day if that club comes!) or just an ace - in either case keeping him in the pot is far from awful. No telling what BB has since he's clearly a donk from his stats, but I hate any time somebody leads with a donk into a pre-flop raiser AND a caller on a paired board. That smells of polarized range to me. So I'd say call there and don't give yourself any unnecessary grief. If and when you hit, you can start evaluating their actions across a couple of streets to see how strong they are, and how thin a value raise would be.
