HAND #1
------------------
I have been on this table with villain for 27 hands. His stats are 22/7/0.5. No reads on him or anything.
I think I played it well until river, although my cbet can be a bit larger.
My question are mostly wether the river b/f is good in itself and if I can make it smaller.

HAND #2
------------------
Only 30 hands with villain, but he has more or less been owning the table by playing lots of hands very aggressive. His stats are 52/42/3.3.
I have been in 1 pot with villain in which I 3bet him preflop with Q5s BTN vs CO and he 4bet to which I folded.
Comments on all streets are welcome.

Hand 1: make it half a PSB on the turn to keep the pot small, then probably c/c the river, or c/f depending on reads, and his bet size, but probably the c/f option.
Hand 2: Dick measuring contests with maniacs are -ev. I'd have 4-bet him preflop. Guys like this have it in them to shove in on that turn with overcards or wotnot, quite apart from the fact he might have a hand.
Edit: Meant 3-bet in hand 2 obviously.

Hand1 is bad IMO. Are you value betting the river or bluffing? If your vbetting here I don't like it much esp if your folding to a raise betting $18. I'd say this was a c/c or a c/f even - I think its probably close, though I c/c this most often.
Hand2 3b pre as played just fold flop and fold turn too.

Bet/fold for value is a very reasonable line.

Hand 1: The bet is definately for value. I think c/c is a pretty bad line tbh. Mostly my betsizing made me worry, because every now and then there are some villains at these stakes that would shove QJ here and I wonder if my betsize commits me. Much less induces too many bluff imo.
Hand 2: Villain didn't seem to be maniacal postflop. He was just beating up the table by being very aggressive against weak lines.
I don't think he would shove overcards or something.
I would usually 3bet preflop as well, but history somehow made me not to. Not sure if that was just weak or good.

With description of villain river bet in hand 1 is good, its sick when he pushes, its less than a minraise. I think I cry call.
Turnraise in hand 2 is sexy, don't listen to the haters. He folds so so much here. Depends a little on your image but this bluff works a ton here. Firing river is tricky if he calls.

Guys, hand 2 - if he's fearless he's probs firing turn.. can't we fold flop a few times to his aggression then make a direct flop raise at some point - - move our flop raising range towards strong hands then exploit the shit out of that?
