Both hands against same Vil. Hes running 30/25/9 3bet over 266 HH. I have played with him before but no real history. He prob views me as fairly standard 23/19 ish. He has seen me make standard ISOing/3 betting plays against fish to my right.
Hand 1:
His CR didnt make a whole lot of sense to me. He knows my BTN range is wide and that I CBET this flop a lot IP. So it wouldnt make a whole lot of sense to play a big hand fast (44). I think he 3 bets his strong broadways and A's. So is flop call standard? I was thinking the A was a good turn to barrel after he checks. Not sure if he folds to often though. And thoughts on river? His bet sizing looks like a K or Q like CR was with Pair as semi bluff?

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BTN with 7 7
3 folds, Hero raises to $1.50, SB calls $1.25, 1 fold

Flop: ($3.50) Q 4 K (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2.50, SB raises to $7, Hero calls $4.50

Turn: ($17.50) A (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

River: ($17.50) 9 (2 players)
SB bets $12.50, Hero folds

Hand 2:
PF I made it 4x because I think he again figure our range here is super wide. Flop-He knows Im firing this with 100% of my range. Turn-Is this standard? I thought the shove might look a little bluffy. I think a call looks pretty strong. If we call and blank rolls of on river he may C/F?

hand 1 : i disagree that he's not going to play big hands fast here, especially from villain's description. But floating this flop is ok because you can rep lots of stuff on later streets and this is a perfect turn to bet (big as well) on when checked to. I would imagine he's betting the turn with both a straight and sets and maybe he would try to pot control kq/a10/aj and give up with his air. When you check the turn though i think you have to fold river because you look pretty desperate to get to showdown so i imagine his betting range is 2pair + on the river.

hand 2: pf 4x is standard in bvb. I'd bet bit bigger on flop and the turn is close. The only draws we're ahead of are stuff 67s and 89s but i'm not sure they're raising here since they would also have a pair and showdown value. Does he rly do this with kq/kj? I guess if we're going to continue i would call turn and c/call any river but i feel like folding the turn here.
Family Cruise IMO

Hand 1
-Yah I don't see why you'd think he's not playing his big hands (KQ/444 or whateaver else) fast here. I'd just b/f flop and would rather float the c/r with a hand with some equity JT/AJ/AT than 77 here.

As played for sure fold riv.

Hand 2
-I would play the same, and ship turn cause I dont think he's going to bluff half pot on the river if we just call and ck.
