1). the two villains are generally playing like passive donks. earlier SB donked the flop and quickly folded to a raise in a limped pot.

in a spot like this on the river am i better off bet/folding or check/calling? i expect if either player bets i'm rarely ahead of another made hand, so by checking i turn my hand into a bluff catcher...

my intention with the sizing was to make my decision easier to a raise, the idol turned pariah sbrugby said in a vid the majority of SSNL players will not bluff over a large river bet. is there a better sizing?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Button ($55)
SB ($104.60)
Hero (BB) ($62.55)
UTG ($32.90)
MP ($66.35)
CO ($42.50)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7, 10
UTG calls $0.50, 3 folds, SB calls $0.25, Hero checks

Flop: ($1.50) 3, 7, 4 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1, UTG calls $1, SB calls $1

Turn: ($4.50) 4 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks

River: ($4.50) 10 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3.50, 1 fold

2). this hand takes place about 20-30 mins later. BB in hand 2 was SB in the above hand (he called my river bet and lost with K7). later he limped ATo from SB, then check flop/ check/call turn/ check river on K2KA3ccc. so he seems to be playin medium str hands passively.

CO is some short stackin donk. his flop flat range is quite wide obviously, though im not sure BB is aware of this.

how do i play the hand after he check/raises the flop?

1) I would always bet the turn.

2) You can fold and not feel to bad about it.

im fine with hand one. I think betting vs. checking are fairly equal given the sb could have a four and youre probably not getting called by worse.

hand two you can probably fold safely. The only thing that you could really be ahead of, given that board texture, is 9-10 but you would have to know that the villain raises draws
ISF while watching me play: "Wow, you're really butchering this."

Hand 1: I think betting turn is crusual. If you're not betting this fairly good turn card, then betting the flop with a marginal made hand makes little sense. Also betting turn is the only way to let villain(s) make a mistake.
Yes you have to soulread c/c or c/f the river sometimes. But I think hand 1 is an important example of b/fing in limped pots with marginal 1 pair hands.

Hand 2 is pretty easy fold really, you beat little.
