Im playing very lag, 40% VP$IP and 20% PFR. Preflop re-raise is common, possible range is AK, JJ-AA. Opponent acted very scared of the flop, almost went into time bank before betting slightly less than half pot. I still put him on same range here, including a missed AK. My thoughts on the flop were that if I hit and he has JJ-AA, i'll take his stack. If I miss he'll make my decision easy on the turn by either punching it with TT-AA or slowing down with his AK. Thoughts on the flop call?

Miffed22001 is on a distinguished road
horrible
overplayed second best hand.

I agree with the thought process, i just cant see calling on the flop with the intention of calling a poosh on the turn

His 1/2 pot on that board was not good - I'm sure that's what made your call easier because it looks like he could have AK. With the reasons you stated, I think it's not a bad play. You have bad pot odds but good implied odds. If he had bet 3/4+ then it's much wiser to fold.

I disagree. (P.S. I am a 25nl player)

Although our hero did get lucky in this hand, I think he played it ok. He has developed a LAG image, which means the reraise preflop didn't necessarily mean AA, so the call PF was fine. On the flop Hero had reason to believe he had the best hand, so calls the half pot bet getting 3:1 on his money with a hand that might be winning, and that has six outs in case it isn't winning. Turn gives hero the 2nd nuts (however its inconceivable that anyone in this hand had QK) so his play from there is fine.

Played fine. Remember that lamb gets 3-bet 9/10 times after he's played more than an orbit on any table.
