Default 2/4 anyone play this differently?

first orbit or so on table so no real reads on villain but hes rockin 4 silver stars.

    Stacks:
    UTG noirduck ($664.05)
    UTG+1 Dustangel ($400)
    CO lakshmi2005 ($392)
    BTN Hero ($480.70)
    SB xJerkyx ($440)
    BB helion ($502)

    Pre-Flop: ($6, 6 players) Hero is BTN
noirduck raises to $12, Dustangel folds, lakshmi2005 folds, Hero calls $12, xJerkyx folds, helion calls $8

    Flop: ($38, 3 players)
helion checks, noirduck bets $32, Hero calls $32, helion folds

    Turn: ($102, 2 players)
noirduck bets $88, Hero calls $88

    River: ($278, 2 players)
noirduck bets $224, Hero calls $224

I usually fold pre if I haven't got a clue about villain's tendencies (except that he is probably decent). I don't call river without reads either.

is this stars? I feel like I've played this guy before and he was definitely on the more loose side.

I'd play it the same post no matter who it was, and call or fold pre pending villain.

Well I don't think AK and AJ bet, especially that large, so the only thing we really beat is QT. Its obviously an excellent spot for him to fire the turn if we are folding aces up, but vs an unknown platinumstar it seems fine.
