Lot of history with villain, he runs 27/23/3.6 over a lot of hands, steals from the sb 35%. Pre-flop we battle a lot and he's a bit spewy. Post-flop he's aggro and still a bit spewy, but not as bad. Definitely a winning player at these stakes. He probably views me as solid and aggro, I've gotten the better of him for the most part.

This is a weird spot for him to c/r because obviously I don't expect him to play a K this way very often but he knows that and prob expects me to look him up light.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $4.00 BB (5 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

saw flop

SB ($604)
Hero (BB) ($521)
UTG ($335.10)
MP ($89.10)
Button ($558.30)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8, A
3 folds, SB bets $16, Hero calls $12

Flop: ($32) 8, K, 5 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $24, SB calls $24

Turn: ($80) 8 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $56, SB calls $56

River: ($192) K (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $150, SB raises to $508 (All-In), Hero... ($275 to call)

I don't see why he can't have a K a lot here given the aggro dynamic between you. He probably expects you to barrel a lot of streets if he c/c the flop with a K.

Also he's not value raising for sure and this is a really bad spot to bluff (and most people aren't another level up afaik) so I'm probably going to fold here if I'm you.

It wouldn't be a terrible bluff though by him.

Do you not like to checkback this river? I mean getting C/R'd is gross and I doubt your ever getting called by worse.

Be rather nice if he C/R'd missed hearts here.

I'd fold, but I think it's a pretty std vb on the river.

River bet too big? This is a very polarized board, I think hero should be making a lot of 1/3 pot bets here.
