Villain has been solid and fairly aggro. This was 5 minutes into the match, so not really much reads. What does he have?

I've been noticing players checking back FD's on the flop a lote more lately, instead of cont betting the draw, cause if you spike the turn and raise it, nobody ever believes you.
This can definitely be like Ax of spades where his kicker is pretty rags.

Checking behind flop with top pair and NDF seems pretty strange to me, even though I don't think it's that horrible. Also, if he has QsXs/JsXs for the second/third nuts, then again, why wouldn't he want to cbet this flop? If he has JsXs, then would he really 3-bet the river?
Also, if he has the nuts, and we have shown a lot of strength, then why doesn't he shove? It's a huge mistake to not shove the nuts here imo.
I think the only hands we can put him on is QsXs that decided to take a free card instead of making a clearly profitable cbet, or a bluff.

River is a fold, rest of the hand is good.

Cause OP doesn't believe that villain has a flush and all two pairs will only flat call, but will probably bet if checked to... and possibly call a raise?
Though I agree with Alexos, I probably b/c if i don't believe he has a flush, than c/r here.

I actually don't know what Hero had in this hand, since he folded. 55 was just my best guess, since he tanked before folding.

oooooooh haha, you're not villain. Gotcha.
The tank probably doesn't mean too much. Villain can have anything here, even a pure air river c/r bluff is gonna tank here for show.
I doubt he had a set of 5's in this case, it would be really oddly played.

so we don't know....what the hole cards were but a decent guess at having a set.
with seeing a flush on the board, what is "wrong "with just calling vilian's check/bet? as hero checked the river, first, right?
school me...that's what i am here for....
