Villian had only been at table for 12 hands so no solid reads, but this is the first time I could remember that he 3bet pre. Comments on all streets would be appreciated as I am not confident that I made any +ev decisions in this hand. My plan was to c/c flop, then c/r any non Ace turn. Then when he insta shoved this river it confused the crap out of me.

I´m really not sure about pre, guess I dont hate it when villian is 3b/folding most of his range %. I won´t c/c this flop ever tho and rather try to check/monkey repping the NFD or optimistic medium pairs.

I would 4bet pre every time without a read not to otherwise. You don't know him so it's always good to assume his range is weighted for value. Plus it being 4 handed could mean he's playing a wider value range or could believe you're bluffing.

If I'm calling pre I'm definitely c/r this flop. This is such a good flop for it because you're getting calls from so many hands you crush. You're getting way more value doing that than hoping he's aggro enough to be firing 2 barrels vs an unknown on a bad board.

If there is no dynamic, I would just 4bet pre.

If there is dynamic, and I know he's aggro and 3bets polarized etc I like your flat and flop/turn.

As for the river... tough spot. Depends so much on villain and what he perceives as a good or bad bluffing spot etc.. but we have no real reads here. For all we know he could be value shoving TT/JJ here.
