1) Villain is 39/26/0.7 fish with fold to cbet 15%. Notes say always bets flop when checked to and I didn't want to c/f this flop against 39% vpip. Or should I cbet for value?

Hand 1
-I'd rather cbet mostly, but i don't mind turn/river now. I think on river, given stacks, it's fine.
Hand 2
-Why turn bet so big? I think given turn card, and given that you're UTG I'd rather c/c this river than shove.

Ok so villain calls your cbet (we know he will), turn is a blank, if we check he bets 100% (at least if he has a worse hand than we do), now what?

Shove for value, lol. or Fold.
But I hate both options. I guess the answer is to wait for a hand slightly better than Ace high and check raise the turn.
So in this situation either check fold flop or play hand like you did. I'm guess you weren't going to barrel the turn if you didn't hit?

1) I'd rather cbet for value but turn and river are ok by me.
2) I don't think I'd ever c/c. Its really close between shoving and c/f. This is the problem with rush, you can never get a dynamic going which would make this decision much easier. I think I'd c/f though, I dunno.

cbetting doesnt have to be for value or as a bluff, it just has to be better than checking. i dont get how check/bombing when this fish is probably going to accidentally play almost perfectly against your hand could be better than cbetting

I'm not saying I like how I played it, but for arguments sake if we assume that he will always call a cbet and always bet the turn (with air range) when checked to, then c/r flop can be better than b/f flop + c/f turn, because that way I can win the air battle and I also have equity when called WITH excellent IO. However it seems the best line could be b/f flop + c/c turn unimproved. That line however is something even this mighty fish could exploit if he understands to keep betting any pair.
