19/15 with a 3b of 5.3% over 157
should I even call OOP? this is a super-obvious spot to 3b bluff, and against some people 4b/call is better... but probably not against this guy
I know some regs never call 3bs OOP but this is the most obvious situation where I should be able to call, right?

This is indeed a standard spot. Call, fold and 4bet can all be best, mostly depending on how you and villain devide the missed pots.

If you're only continuing when you hit and villain is cbetting a decent amount, I think calling is not profitable.

As played, I don't have an opinion yet about raising flop vs raising turn.

calling preflop is fine, you can fold too. i dont like 4bet/calling AQ tho, pretty sure we would be crushed to his 5betting range.

id say just get it in on turn, he may just shutdown on turn anyway so you may not win much more on later streets by calling. id just raise it up, if he has AJd ATd he will call. he may ship KKd too.
Jman: every time the action is to you, it's an opportunity for you to make the perfect play.

Positional 3bet stats come in real handy here. At 100NL I find that villains are often either 3betting light IP or as a restealer. They usually have a tendency toward one or the other. If he's light IP then 4betting has merit, but if he's a restealer then folding is closer to right.
With the given read, I don't mind how you played preflop even if it makes it tougher postflop. I like a flop CRAI though as you probably get paid by worse hands rather than the turn raise in hopes he bets again & giving up a possible free card.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

This is a super gay spot to c/r the turn, he's checking behind like everything you beat including a substantial amount of draws. I c/r flop for sure.

Am I the only one who thinks he's crushed here when villain pots the turn?

Turn bet defined his hand and it may not be balanced. This board is so wet that Ax hands will bet big here and I can't see him doing the same with air.

The medicore big protection bet is a pattern I didn't pick up on consistantly until the last few months.

c/r flop or c/f turn i think. It's really consistent for this to be a big hand since he near pot flop and now near pot turn also. I'd expect a bluff to bet smaller on flop and smaller on turn, seems to me he's trying to protect something.

Calling preflop is probably >> folding >>>>>>>>>>>>raising
