Hero (SB) ($135.90)

Villian is 33/8/1.5 over 219 hands, On the river i think a bet fold is better as i saw this after, but as playd is the river call?


Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, Q
UTG calls $1, 2 folds, Hero raises to $5, BB calls $4, UTG calls $4

Flop: ($15) 6, J, 7 (3 players)
Hero bets $12, BB calls $12, 1 fold

Turn: ($39) 10 (2 players)
Hero bets $24, BB calls $24

River: ($87) Q (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $40, Hero ???

I'd rather just bet semi large on the river. As played I think we are good as draws are probably raising the flop but not sure if you really get value from anything if we raise river so meh. I guess just call but could be wrong. But I think we get more money by b/f river

Shitty spot. But given his stats there's a definite possibility he's turning a weak made hand into a bluff here. I think your line and c/c river is best. Vs. a nittier player you have to make a big laydown here.
