Ok time to start posting some HHs

Opp was a reg at 200NL but dunno if he does jump in and out of limits. he plays about 22/18 or so over large sample. he has 3bet in the past so unlikely he holds JJ+,AQ+ though if he is setting me up then he has AA most times.

But given how flop went down i think AA is out of his range along with Axs hands. How do you like my line given im kinda using the shove scare card turn line in 3bet pot

What his is range here? Wouldnt we expect to him to 3bet at least TT+, maybe 99+? In your OP you said you cant put him on JJ+, AQ [I will add TT], so what can we put him on? Against somebody with a narrow gap like this between VPIP and PFR, we are going to see small PPs a ton and then I would expect maybe some SCs and maybe some broadways [although Id expect him to3bet those more often than call].

So after calling the flop bet, what could he have? Given how incredibly draw heavy this flop is, I would expect him to raise a set or 2 pair most of the time. So his range is primarily a FD, set or two pair a small percent of the time, and maybe a random float a small percent of the time as well.

On the turn, the flush hits. What is in his range PF, that would play the flop this was that we beat on the turn? Honestly, I can only think of 88, 99, and then a small percentage of overs. What part of that range is calling? 99 is most likely folding to the shove, _maybe_ calling with 9d9x. 88 is in the same boat, _maybe_ calling with 8d8x. Everything else that we are ahead of, which, again, isnt much.

So basically we _may_ get value out of part of a small part of their range, are not getting anything that we beat to fold, and the vast majority of their range anyways is ahead here.

I just dont understand this at all. What can we put him on here?

EDIT: Actually, I just noticed that there was a minraise first and then your raise. How would this affect his range? All I can think of is that it would shift PF away from hands like small PPs and SCs and maybe more towards broadways, but that doesnt really change my analysis a ton.

After thinking about his range there are so many hands Ive eliminated given flop action. We have dropped sets and draws so i think he is holding almost squarely PPs lower than QQ but are non-sets, i reckon he is weak given flop action and also this range would suit his flop play. Turn i think i still gotta shove vs this range in case he holds a diamond. make sense, am i wrong?

I think your pre-flop 3-bet is too big. $9 would be pot-sized. Turn is tough, he could have a hand like JJ-88 (I'm not sure he 4-bets JJ pre) but you're probably not getting any value from these hands with a push, even if he has a diamond. I wouldn't discount a set here, b/c a flush draw makes up such a small part of your range that he might not raise the flop to protect. It's close, but I think I c/f turn. You get pwned by float/bluffs and JJ-88 but I don't think that's the majority of his range. If the turn checks through I c/f a 4th diamond, and c/c anything else.
