Villian is 35/22/1 over 145 hands fold to CB 60%

The hand right before this i dble barreled and he folded so maybe he is a bit aggravated, I am playing really aggro at the time

Anyways wat is he trying to rep?

Bet bigger on the flop, a little bigger on the turn, now fold.

I just looked up these spots in HEM, but call flop, c/r turn is extremely rare, and in the hands that I get it's usually a shortstacked donk with a random range... Sets, 2nd pair, tpnk...
But since your villain seems fairly competent, and he should know that his line doesn't look particularly strong, I would lean towards folding.

Try the "called flop cb raise with less than tptk" filter preset if you have hem.
You can then remove "flop bet call=true" and add "turn bet call=true" or "turn bet raise=true"
And just go through the spots.

I'm a non believer against flop raises way too often - check that while you're at it, but in this spot they show up with loads of weird stuff.
All you're really hoping for is that he c/c the flop just to c/r bluff the turn, or waits for the river to donk, but changed his plan. It really comes down to if you think he's capable of being tricky like that... I might call if there's a chance he's tilting after after a beat that he might consider bad.

You could also ask yourself if you would be calling this with 88, because it's basically the same hand. Against a total donk I'd rather have KT because he might be bluffing with K4, but your guy seems bad but not retarded.

I thought stack-a-donk was bet flop, c/r turn...but whatever

WA/WB and I'm pot controlling and checking this turn back like 100% against an unknown and kinda playing the river by ear

We're rarely if ever stacking 88 and he probably doesn't have too many worse K's here

Do y'all think turn is a mandatory bet?

I agree with this. If his fold to cbet was lower I'd definitely bet but I think here you should probably check. Definitely fold now though even with recent history.

idk, it depends a lot if he's calling a lot from the blinds with random broadways - if he does than he's a lot more likely to have tp with a better kicker... if he doesn't then his range will be fd's and middle pp's mostly.

With this board I'd rather bet turn and maybe check back river rather than check turn, bet river because there are quite a few fd's in his range with that texture.

I was thinking this in combination with the fact that you think he is getting stubborn. I bet, bet, chk bk. As played I usually fold to the raise unless I have metagame reason to call down. But I am a POW so whatev.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

I disagree. This is a good candidate for pot control.
You are more likely to get called on the river compared to the turn from all his made hands that you beat, and you can induce bluffs on the river from all his missed draws and random floats.
In addition, this helps to balance your range with the times that you cbet flop with air, and check/give up on turn.

hmmm i like ur reasoning but what about the times u dbl. barrel air? Like i said my image was aggro. I guess it has some merits but i think it depends greatly on ur playing style/ image. I believe in pot control but with the FD out there i just don't believe it's the greatest spot for it.
