hey!

Villain is reg 20/15/3.8
SB is PASSIVE FISH.

I could lead this flop and mostly try and play a pot in position vs the fish, I'm thinking I should probably do that maybe 60 - 75% of the time here.

If I however choose to check (to CR) this flop...

I don't think it's too profitable to raise the turn when fish donks because i'm really not beating any other 2pr hands and if opp holds AT/AJ they aren't exactly happy with this board.

When original raiser pops it up here I think it's 2pr+ almost every time, so I'm simply calling for flush odds to the river. The problem is when I play the turn this way it looks like I'm exactly on a draw and he might fold 2pr/set on river if the flush card comes.

suggestions?

This is a decent spot to 3bet pre in an attempt to iso the SB fish.

I agree in most cases but this particular villain who opened I believe is capable of reading that as exactly what I'm doing and will 4bet me or at least flat the 3bet knowing that fish often comes in.... do you still do that in this case?

If we expect villain to 4bet light I suppose KQs is quite a decent hand to go with then

Villain is repping like JT and KK..?

Just raise vs the fish on the turn your hand is amazing and the fish won't fold if he has an ace. I agree you should isolate the fish and 3-bet preflop. Fold now, I doubt he's bluffing here very much if at all. Curious what other people think is the best play once Hero gets squeezed.

The other reg is just like never playing back at you light. You are repping that you have a hand that you expect to get a call from the SB VERY VERY OFTEN, this should trigger alarm bells to any regular sitting in that spot as the original opener.

Even though he will know you can have hands like AJ/KQ, he will also know that that's the bottom of your range and it's just as likely you have something like AK/AQ/TT+. No way he's messing with you, nor should be messing with other regs when we are the original opener and they make the play we are advocating in your spot.

edit: And NOOOOO, don't 5bet shove over the reg if he 4bets, you are in bad shape.

As played on the turn, there is no option but to call, your hand's relative strength in this situation is weak. I would put villain who raised the turn on JT VERY VERY VERY often, though was surprised to see him shove the river. I guess he had AA and slowplayed it on the flop. Easy snap fold on the river.

Yea I figured I had odds to call on the turn, sometimes i have the boat outs as well as nut flush outs which is great, but since we're oop do you think if we HIT the river flush that opp will fold TJ or a set ? This would be the only reason for NOT calling the turn squeeze...
