Villian is a reg running 27/22 over 92 hands I didn't notice him donking before (3b is 9%, but sample size, lol)

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

MP ($104.10)
Hero (CO) ($108.15)
Button ($50)
SB ($100)
BB ($127.40)
UTG ($223.75)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9, A
2 folds, Hero bets $3, 2 folds, BB calls $2

Flop: ($6.50) 8, 2, 6 (2 players)
BB bets $5, Hero calls $5

Turn: ($16.50) J (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $11

Do you think it's better to either raise flop or check back turn? I found I do this with ace high sometimes if I think it's going to be difficult to just show it down on the river
There's always c/f flop, but it seems super weak since he's repping 99+ and he doesn't have that every time he donks

Alexos is on a distinguished road
hes not repping 99+

and this is decent, flop raise is prolly somewhat better tho.. just make sure to barrel river if u do bet turn
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Can offer RB deals on most sites, PM me.

im not the biggest fan of this..

what is villian donking here with? you think he is donking with air often?

even if villian does not have a great hand... how does A9o really hold up to villians range?

we are betting this turn as a bluff im assuming? in which case we have very little equity against villians hand? the only cards that can help us are an A? but maybe villians range consists of A8, A2, A6 in which case we are just wasting money?

I feel like this is just a bad spot to be making a stand with ace high.
and we can find better spots to win dead money

lolweird

I like, as most people take it for less bluffy than just raising frop.

Alexos: How can we rep a bet turn bet river hand after flatting on flop?

The flop is so dry that its possible that our flatting range of his donk lead has enough strong hands that we can bet turn and river and still have strong hands in our range.

I'd probably raise this nonsense donk lead though, I feel like people fold a ton here.

As played, fold river obviously.

I think this is mostly, 56, 67, 78, 89, 77. Better and worse would prolly c/r or c/c - obv. depends on reads.
I think I either raise and barrel if I get called, or fold flop depending on villain.
If I float, I think I would check back once a J, Q or K hits because people don't expect you to v-bet 88-TT at that point. Not that you wouldn't.

I don't know what NL100 opponents are thinking, but generally if you check turn you'll get called down with shit

it's like "oh turn checked through, he must be bluffing the river" not "he checked the turn because he's pot controlling his showdown hand, if he had air he'd stab the turn trying to rep hitting one of his overcards"

I dunno, I take this line often at both 50 and 100. I find out fairly quickly what opps flop donk and turn check means. Much of the time it seems to be a hugely weak line.

I use this line often if I've been raising a lot of donkbets and feel like I'm not going to get as much respect as before. Standard is raise flop though
