I don't have much history with the opponent but he bought in for only 30bb and doubled up first through me when he called my preflop raise with Kh4h and check/called until the river when his flush hit and then when he called with Ad2d in the BB against a button raiser and check/called bets also for his flush to hit on the river. Can I automatically assume that he has the flush here? Also would a push be here OK if I would have the Jc?

PokerRoom No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

BB ($160.90)
UTG ($122.80)
Button ($90.75)
Hero ($166.60)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J, J.
UTG calls $1, 1 fold, Hero raises to $5.5, BB calls $4.50, UTG calls $4.50.

Flop: ($16.50) 2, 3, 4 (3 players)
Hero bets $13, BB folds, UTG calls $13.

Turn: ($42.50) T (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $40, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $42.50

Pretty early on at this table. I know betting this river is pretty bad but should I have played this differently? Bet sizing is pretty much on the small side but I was trying out different tactics against the common Ongame donkey who doesn't know pot odds for shit.

hand 2:
first of all you say that they dont understand pot odds... then you would bet bigger not smaller.

and for the river probably check behind or make it smaller since weaker hands probably arent going to want to call with that board.
but once he check raises you are almost always beat here. this just isnt a bluff and hes not doing it with anything besides a jack. so just fold.

hand 1: with youre read i dont see any reason why this isnt a fold. It sounds like villain chases hard, but he has done it w/ Kx and Ax FD's, so even w/ the Jc this is probably a lay down.

hand 2: check behind as played. i would bet $14-15ish on the turn and fire 1/2 pot on a safer river card.
