Villain is a good reg (FTRer). I'm geniunely lost on the best line to take here on nearly every street, and not just on this hand, but in similiar situations.
Is betting the flop here nearly always correct? Or can a check/call be correct also?
I'm also at a loss for what range of hands I can generally expect to see from the villain floating this flop.
What's my turn plan as played... If I check the flop and he bets, and I call, what's my turn plan then?
Thanks for help here guys.. I am regularly spewing in these spots me thinks!

SB Hero ($100.00)
BB Chaweewan ($98.50)
Pre-flop: ($1.50, 6 players) Hero is SB
3 folds, I_Lie_2_U raises to $3, Hero raises to $11, 1 fold, I_Lie_2_U calls $8
Flop: ($23, 2 players)
Hero bets $15, I_Lie_2_U calls $15
Turn: ($53, 2 players)
Hero checks, I_Lie_2_U bets $23, $23 to Hero ($74)?

wow... So I just read nutsinho's post in the "OESD on turn in 3b pot" thread.. This seems to apply in this situation. From what I read in that thread, we would rather call here with hands like KJ to keep BU's range wide, which our KJ fairs relatively well against. 3betting just narrows villains the range villain continues with to a range we are generally dominated by, or not getting much value out of postflop.
My initial thoughts on 3betting in this pot is that (1) we have blockers, therefore the likelihood he has a strong hand decreases (2) we are OOP, so if it's +ev to 3b here on Fold Equity alone, it seems I would rather do so than play a pot OOP with possibly a marginal holding. I'm assuming this logic is completely wrong, and the statements in the above paragraph are closer to what we should be doing/thinking?

its better to be 3betting hands like these out of the SB than out of the BB because you are not closing the action but its not something you should be getting in the habit of doing. If you dont feel comfortable playing the hand OOP in a raised pot then you should usually fold and sometimes 3bet. this hand is good enough to call with though; you should practice playing out of position with these hands. you need to be leading and checkraising lots of flops whether you hit or missed but its not hard to play the hand profitably since you have a decent hand and your range for flatting the sb is much stronger than a BU opening range so your moves have to be given a decent amount of respect.

How do you like this plan: call pre, donk the flop, call his flop raise.

Nah, he's not that good. You can profitably call here, check the river and let this particular villain donk off all his chips to you with his missed FD.

i call with KJo like 75% and 3-bet it like 25% in those spots. i prefer betting the flop for sure, and i think hes lying to you, so call.

This, and I usually 3barrel for value here but you might not have the image to do that. I guess c/c turn as played and c/c river b/c pot odds will be so good and villain thinks you're a full-ring nit who will fold KJo.

Check the flop to balance the times you're check/folding after a pre-flop (semi-)bluff.
