Villain is a 19/15 reg who 3bets like 7%.

Given I didn't have a good feel for his barreling frequency is it just prudent to fold either pre or on the turn?

$0.50/$1 No Limit Holdem
5 Players
Hand Conversion Powered by weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG AlexMack24 ($304.80)
CO DaveCLTL ($152.80)

SB Hero ($100)
BB fakker11 ($126)

Pre-Flop: ($1.50, 5 players) Hero is SB
3 folds, Hero raises to $3, fakker11 raises to $10, Hero calls $7

Flop: ($20, 2 players)
Hero checks, fakker11 bets $12, Hero calls $12

Turn: ($44, 2 players)
Hero checks, fakker11 bets $27, Hero calls $27

River: ($98, 2 players)

what's daven doing playing 6m?

i 4b jam or fold pre, and i certainly don't feel good about stacking off against this nit on this board (i doubt his triple barreling frequency is high at all, much less on this board)

4betting pre feels like "wasting" a good hand on a bluff. It's not like he's ever continuing with worse.

Folding seems ok, and probably a lot better than calling if I'm gunna be playing guessing games OOP, I just thought I'd be dominating a lot of his 3b range so I called.

tough hand OOP. preflop and flop are fine. turn was a pretty bad card and i think a fold would be okay. on a 2/3/4/5/6/8/9/K turn you would have to call another barrel. then divine whether to fold or call the river.

if you were 4betting AQ he should be going with 88-TT for stacks pretty often, and folding over half of his 3bet range (in this scenario his 3bet% is probably 10-12%).

Hand 0: 34.143% { AQo }
Hand 1: 65.857% { 88+, AKs, AKo } (--4.4% of total range)
