Villain is a 6m reg, but not great. He's definitely aggressive. After he bet the turn I thought he may or may not have the king, but if he did have it he'd probably c/c to let me barrel him. Since he donked the turn I assumed that he probably didn't have it. Now that he checked the river there's basically no chance that he has a hand that has us beat because our hand looks like something we'd check back on the river. Since he has what is most likely air we can try to induce a river raise or alternatively ace high call if we bet a tilting amount. I instasnap called the raise ofc since my plan was to induce. Comments?

Yeah his line makes like no sense if he's doing it for value, maybe like 8c7c?. It just seems like he decided you were bluffing on the flop and went for the c/c flop donk turn line. Then pussied out when you called but decided you were bluffing again when you bet small on the river. So yeah if I bet the river like this to induce I'd have to call if I thought he was capable of bluffing.

Btw, I love playing 6m regs hu after the table breaks

I know I'm nobody to the HU forum(not saying for the irony...), but if you didn't mind, I was wondering, Do we have any history before this hand HU. I mean, I don't really know your normal 6m image or anything, but I was just wondering if villain had any reason to believe you were completely FOS from that, or if there was a good deal of back and forth whilst HU... And despite the fact that I again, am nobody I will say that I would have played the same way, with either a checkbehind on the river(If I think villain is capable of showing weaktight tendencies HU, under-reping his hand OR capable of trying to induce here) or a similar sized bet/c.
The only reason I'm interested is because villains range is an interesting one to try to Identify since it primarily looks like air, and the more info the better...

Actually your line isn't bad. I didn't see that you said he is aggressive. His line is just so weird. I check back cuz I just have no idea what he could have and don't love turning this into a big pot without a better read on villain.

Seems like it would be helpful if we knew your image against this player at the time. Probably not a HUGE amount w/ the way the hand played out, but seems like it would be helpful.

From what I've seen c/c flop donk turn is bullshit a large portion of the time unless turn card complicates the board with a FD or something....I like this line

oskar has a spectacular aura aboutoskar has a spectacular aura aboutoskar has a spectacular aura about
Would be nice to have a note on the c/c donk turn line.
When he checks the river I think he pretty much never has air. You just called the turn... if he was bluffing, why wouldn't he follow through on the river?

When you say induce, I was hoping you meant: induce a call by A high... not make him raise air and pick him off with 2nd pair... I think your line is suicide.
The strengh of a hero is defined by the weakness of his villains.

when he checks river he never has a king either
and by raising here he's repping 77/78/K7

but yeah I wouldn't mind an ace high call down or a random 7
but I think when he raises me here we can say he polarizes his range to two pair+ or air
since two pair is hard to make, I'd say he has air more than two pair

Your line in this thread looks pretty results oriented. But what do I know.

So obviously I'm supposed to let oskar tell me that his line is like std value line and I should fold after inducing?
