Hand 1
Prima Poker skin
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $89.74
UTG+1: $61.95
CO: $72.25
hero: $103.99
SB: $29.23
BB: $99.00 (17/6/1.5 over 18 hands)

Pre-flop: (6 players) hero is Button with 6 7
2 folds, CO calls, hero calls, SB folds, BB checks.

I had been raising limpers a lot, so I just called here, hoping for some post flop play. I know raising would be standard here.

Flop: 5 Q 4 ($3.5, 3 players)
BB checks, CO checks, hero bets $3, BB raises to $6.25, CO folds, hero calls.

I was expecting villain to have a Q a lot here, some 45, 44, 55, some air.
I can get villain of a Q by raising, though my reasoning was that could be done later in the hand as well and that somewhere it would be clear how good villains hand was. Should raising still be standard?

Turn: 9 ($16, 2 players)
BB bets $8, hero calls.

River: 9 ($32, 2 players)
BB checks, hero bets $25

I like my betsizing, but I ain't sure about betting at all...

Hand 2:
Prima Poker skin
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $33.41
UTG+1: $57.27 (19/10/1.64 over 153 hands)
CO: $49.93
Button: $49.60
SB: $40.50
hero: $61.82

Pre-flop: (6 players) hero is BB with 3 3
UTG calls, UTG+1 raises to $2, 3 folds, hero calls, UTG folds.

Flop: Q 7 8 ($4.75, 2 players)
hero bets $3, UTG+1 calls.

Well at least I am scared with a lot of cards on such a board, so I gave it a try to see how villain would respond

Turn: J ($10.75, 2 players)
hero bets $8, UTG+1 calls.

River: 4 ($26.75, 2 players)
hero...

Give up or go for it? how much, 20?

hand 2: just c/f flop i dont see what the point of trying to run some bluff here is. hes calling down with a lot of hands especially once he calls the flop bet.

Hand 1:
-Preflop: Raise.
-Flop: Betting flop is OK, I don't reraise his cr, he's giving u the next card quite cheap.
-Turn: Just call and try to suck out, I don't think it's worth it trying to blow him out.
-River: I am a passive nit and just give up. It's very likely he's checking to induce a bluff, although another possibility is that he's afraid he just got counterfeited.... Do u have any reads on him besides the hud-stat?

Hand 2: C/f. Try to win next hand instead.

Hand #1 you're only getting him off what was basically a bluff anyway, or 45 since that got fucked on the river. If this guy can read hands even on the most basic level though he's calling you with a queen. So on the range you gave him only 45 folds.

I don't like 1 because very often in that situation villain is check/calling a mediocre hand and won't be pushed off for less than a PSB, but doesn't want to risk being re-raised.

Hand 2 you have been called down. Maybe a bluff works, but it's awfully spewy. I don't like your turn bet here either, you are def behind and board is so draw heavy so many things stick around. Board texture!

I hate hand one. You look like a missed draw so bad.

Hand two I hate because the only hand you're trying to represent is a made flush that played it fast. The calls should scare you. Give it up on the river.

I agree that Hand 2 is just an awful spot to bluff but how is he representing only a flush? What about sets, overpairs, QJ, any 2 pair hand? Checking river with those hands seems really bad without reads.

Edit: I'm an idiot, I thought he was the PFR. He could still have a set easily though.

Results:

Hand 1: Villain folded river, I don't know what he had.
As it's an unraised pot I still think a QJ, QT hand is most likely, maybe 23 or 67, or 45. I don't think JJ and TT are in his range.
Someone said a flop 3-bet wouldn't fold a Q on the flop, but I disagree with that.
I called the turn because of the odds and bluffed river because villains check seemed really scared.
I guess the river pairing the board makes this worse than when it didn't? (villain having 45 makes a lot of sense now actually)

Hand 2: I checked river and villain checked behind with KKd.
Your comments are unanimously that this was a bad play and it probably is. Though I don't really mind the flop bet, I should give up after it.

What about a c/r flop, lead turn?

Can I let you lay down black AA's on this board?

I'm glad the hands worked out pretty decent for you. The straight up bet three streets bluff is kinda hard to pull off in my experience. In hand one the reason I didn't like it was because your line looked genuinely weak in my eyes. Since I had the advantage of knowing it was a bluff I am going to be a little biased.
