So, today I played my 100,000th shorthanded game. Started in June or so, and 99% my PT stats is 5-max or 6-max. Started at 100NL 5-max, then 200 and now 400. Pretty standard. (Taken some shots at 600 but I feel like I'm a little scared and my BR is not large enough to play there full time. BR is at 18k or something btw, so I'm comfortable at 400NL). The last few k hands has been kinda rough (but no large downswing as you can see, just up down up down etc). Running bad and sometimes letting that affect my play. I'm taking the rest of the week off before the grind starts again.

I know stats don't say that much, and poker is mostly about postflop play (which is correct), but anyway. Anything will be appreciated!

NL ($4) is 5-max too, btw. Just haven't converted it.

Also, don't make prop bets with Lukie because the man is a machine and has actually never lost at anything he has ever done.

Looking at your stats... to be honest, I'm not much of a pokertracker or a stats guy. I do use it though and the stats that you show, from vpip to pfr to won $@SD are strikingly similar to mine. That aside...

Winrate is impressive over your first 100k sh hands, no doubt.

I think you stand to make more money by player more hands, particularly in late position and most specifically on the button. Like I said though, your stats are strikingly similar to mine, although in fairness, a lot of these hands are 5max and I have tightened up a fair bit lately after I just got brutalized at the start of the month.

You could probably protect your blinds a little bit more, but again, the numbers are only a very small bit tighter then mine are here (not trying to imply that my 'stats are ideal' because they're most certainly not, just using it for comparison). Over my last 56k hands, I am running at (0.03) bb/hand from the SB. I remember after approximately half this amount, I was in the green from the SB.

Attempted to steal blinds seems a bit low, but forgivable.

hmmm i gotta go get something to eat, maybe I'll add to this later. It seems like a really solid start though.

Thanks so far. Should I lose so much in the SB, anyone?

Random thought on SB vs BB.

In short handed games I tend to take position on piss poor players and hence have very strong results out of my BB because the SB will enter the pot out of position and I think I have a pretty good edge in those spots.

As a result I lose very little from my BB and quite a lot from my SB. *Insert various disclaimers about variance and the amount of tuning I do to my game*
