Joy_ofPlayin has definitely gotten the best of me during this session. I started off the session by doing a lot of raising/3betting, and he responded by 3betting most of my CO opens, forcing me to tighten up. I’ve also 4bet him twice (A-A/Q-Q), once he folded preflop, the second time he called and stacked me with K-10s and flopping TP. He seems like a solid TAG regular.

Is the river bet a value bluff? Given his overall level of aggression, I don’t expect him to have a Jack very often, assuming he usually raises on the flop. However, sometimes he does have a Jack and I think the overbet on the King causes him to fold some of the time, because i can plausibly have a King while the most likely way for him to have a King is to be holding K-J. However, sometimes he also calls the river bet with a hand like 8-8, because this would be a good card for me to bluff on since A-Kdd/A-Kcc/K-Qdd/K-Qcc/A-A/K-K are all in my range.

i dont mind this line as it looks alot like you have ak,kq,kj,aa and are trying to represent a bluff to get him to call with his j or other pairs. However this is dependent if he can think beyond level 2 which it sounds like he can due to your description of him. I also think he folds most of his range here as an overbet river shove is a powerful move and he often only has a bluff catcher or missed draw. Yet id still lean more towards a check call/fold depending on his river bet or possibly even a blocking bet of around 20 bucks as your play is somewhat spewy. Tbh im not sure which is the more optimal line :/.

this is fine if you have shown down mostly the goods. if your image stinks at all or you've shown down a big bluff, I would advise not to.
