I usually check QJ first hand against a total unknown. I probably also check turn but leading isn't bad. On river it is pretty sick but I'd rather c/c or b/f... I just don't see what you beat unless he missed spades and I don't think a standard $10 donkey would raise a missed draw too much here.

So you would fold after that raise getting 3:8 pot odds?
edit:
or maybe my bet-sizing is bad at the river?
I think that I beat a lot of things in his range, ppl go broke with second pair and such things a lot at this level. and also he might think that I am bluffing the overcard.

yeah they do but they usually just call down with them, not raise on the river

yeah I was just trying to reason for betting out and not check/calling.
I feel that I really lack the discipline to fold in this spot provided that this is the right play. I just cant resist these pot odds.

Calling here isnt bad. Bloating the pot on 3 streets isnt such a great plan though.
Just playing to improve.

By the way this was not the first hand its something like 10 or 15th and he called all my c-bets but folded to second barrels (u can probably imagine the huge sample from which I was able to conclude these statements, but hey its probably pretty standard to not have a super-read at turbo HUSNGs), thats why I fired on the turn.

Check turn, get your chips on if you hit on the river. Dont use the same line all the time. If you've been 2 barrelling him a lot (and more than twice in 15 hands would be a lot), then he's correct to let you hang yourself here if he has a solid hand.
Just playing to improve.

yeah but I suspect he was floating me, so I would have to pay approximately the same amount to chase my draw only without the fold equity if I checked the turn.
