    Hero ???

Worst river card in the entire deck I would imagine. If I shove I think I'm only getting called by better, if I check I'm pretty much handing villain the pot.

    Thoughts?

I think in this particular situation the fact that AK gets there helps you make a block bet quite a bit. I'd bet like $18 and re-eval if facing a shove. Your pot odds will be ridic at that point.

Definitely no other play on the river other than check decide. Evaluate his range and make the right play. Seems like he doesn't have nearly enough hands weak enough to bluff for you to be able to call, but if he's the type that would shove his entire range then just shrug and check call. You should check a flush and certainly a straight as well, fwiw.

I think that you should raise to $17. If you go check, than even the villain don't have nothing he will go raise/all-in to bluff you and get the pot, so for my opinion you have to raise (however three jacks is not easy to throw away). My opinion is that he has 99 or 77.
