I've only played 20 hands with him. but the stats are 30/10 with a 3.0 aggression factor.
I'm more worried about how I played the turn than anything else... My thinking was that if i raised the turn I'll force out any worse hand, but at the same time calling tells me nothing.
I felt fairly safe on the river when he bet just $22 into a $72 pot. I felt that if he was happy with his hand he would have bet more after I called his bet on the turn.
Thoughts?

I fold the river. He probably has a counterfeit flush, but since you don't have reads (20 hands is nothing), you can't give him enough credit to lay his hand down.

Do you actually fold on the turn then?
Or do you like the call/fold line?

i fold river because i think its too likely villian is trying to squeeze value out of the As
also, like renton said, even if he has Ks, who knows if he can lay it down..

Thats exactly what I thought he had (and why I though raiseing the turn might have been a better play) .. This points out another problem in my game that I need to fix. I hate to call/check after taking the lead in a pot. I hate it so much, that I sometimes raise/bet when checking is the right move.
But while the $22 river bet wasnt exactly small, it wasnt much bigger than the flop or turn bets, and the pot was a lot bigger at this point.
You (or at least I) would think that if he liked his flush, the bet would have been larger.
If someone calls $12 into a $48 pot on the turn, I would think that a $22 bet would be a little low into a $72 pot... I would have bet more like $30...
But then it's been about 8 months from the last time I played $200NL ring... I'm used to MTT's and SnG's now...
I guess I have a lot to relearn.
Thanks for the help... I think I'm going to stick to two tables for a while to get back into practice at reading better, and just as critical, relearning if/when/why diffrent players are willing to fold/call/raise.
At least this hand ended well (he folded)
