JL will become famous soon enough
Villain is an aggro Tagg regular who has been 3betting a lot lately - especially out of the blinds.
I can't put him on a hand that would c/r this flop other than KQ and 88...both of which are likely candidates for 3betting preflop.
I think he is too tight to defend with K8/Q8, and I don't think he would c/r JT here but I could be wrong.

What type of hand would be a good candidate to 4bet this flop as a bluff?
And how is my bet sizing on the flop?

$1/$2 No Limit Holdem
5 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG ($277.90)
CO ($268.30)
Hero ($301.00)
SB ($208.00)
BB ($191.65)

Pre-flop: ($3, 5 players) Hero is BTN with X X
2 folds, Hero bets $7, 1 fold, BB calls $5

Flop: ($15, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $12, BB bets $42, Hero bets $82 (That's a raise to $94 total) ...

just because someone is 3betting a lot doesn't mean they are also raising a lot of dryish flops BvB, be careful.

he can also do this with J10 profitably vs. button if you have been pressuring blinds enough, you have a small range to be able to continue... good candidate to 3bet here is J10 (suited especially) and your 3bet needs to be bigger... but at that point you might as well just shove (but I don't like 3b or shove)

BvB if you did have a feltworthy hand are you really going to 3bet the flop or flat? Your options after his raise depend a lot on your hand at this point. If you already have a decent hand, because we're IP we can call and evaluate. depending on what hero has folding is fine too

JT is most certainly within his range.

This flop nailed your perceived range and he's still playing back at you. I don't like your chances unless he's running a ghey ass raise to see where I'm at line.

I also dislike your bet sizing, but others disagree with my disagreement.

i sort of like CIB type 3betting..but it's not a good spot to bluff, at least more than once in a while imo.

i'd try to figure out his 3betting range. maybe it's high cards, or maybe its monsters/air...polarized..at least if u have to battle a decent opp...

This seems like an odd flop to be playing back at you on. His raise also seems kind of large for that flop. Which might indicate a draw that doesn't want to be priced out if you play back, meaning he's willing to get the money in if he has to. I just fold to his raise, but I'm a puss.

Who was this btw?

This flop is too coordinated to do this kind of play.

It's much better on a dry K62 rainbow type flop than this kind of board.
