I see people at 100NL betting $1 into multiway flops when they call a preflop raise (usually mine). I have to say that 100% of the time I raise it to 3/4 to full pot and they fold. But I have seen other times when I'm not in the hand people actually just call the $1 bet - basically confirming they too missed. WTF?

I don't see anything wrong with calling last-to-act and you have a weak draw.

Don't see anything wrong with calling sometimes either, if I'm preflop raisor I almost always raise them though, but if I'm not, and I don't think a raise will get me the pot, I call with weak draws and overcards too if the pot is big enough.

And I don't think it's comfirming I missed, in a raised pot, middle position with agro preflop-raisor behind me to act, it can be nice to call these with strong hands like a set on a board without a lot of draws going for the 3-bet re-raise. And sometimes even on a draw heavy board if you're really sure the preflop-raisor will raise, then the min-bettor might call the first raise with a draw and you can go for a huge re-raise taking down a nice big pot or possibly winning a huge one.

if you raised preflop, then the pot is big enough to be worth winning. i always raise there, even when sometimes i would have checked behind if they checked to me.
