Betfair / OnGame rakeback - how does it work?

As the title says. I've just signed up with a promo code given to me by a prominent FTR member. Just curious how this valueback/rakeback scheme works. Is it similar to Stars, how you accumulate points and purchase bonuses that get credited to your account, or is it like Tilt and other sites where rakeback is simply periodically deposited into your account?

I searched google and these forums and couldn't find a straightforward explanation (searching for it on goolge just yields a ton of rakeback sites jockeying for position on their rankings...)

Any help would be appreciated. I'd like this all squared away by the time I deposit (probably tomorrow).

Alright I'm told it is of the Stars variety, where you receive points and purchase store bonuses with them.

why do you always have to bump an old thread and ask a vague question. Funny i know , it always seems to be around a freebie giveaway so that that you can appear to be active. Betfair has now moved to ipoker and no rakeback allowed , but you can get enhanced VIP schemes. ongame is up for sale/sold now that the owners have bought pokerstars.

I think it's a legit bump.
