General Guidelines
This forum is for all material that relates to all forms of Omaha. Hands, brag posts, beat posts, strategy posts, blog posts, tournaments, and site/game selection issues all are legitimate topics for discussion. Please mention the form of game being played in your topic title to avoid confusion: PLO, PLO8, LO8, LO and such.
Posting Hand Histories
Clean up your hand histories manually or use a converter. Unconverted Omaha histories are almost impossible to read and interpret. FTR's Hand Converter currently offers limited support for Omaha. As such, here is one that works with more sites: Leggopoker HH converter. Hands MUST be converted!
Include any reads you have on the other players in the hand and how your opponents may perceive you based on the last couple orbits. Big-bet Omaha is not a technical, but an intuitive game and reads are often more important than anything else.
Don’t necessarily post the final results until after some initial discussion, as it may bias the analysis. Use your judgment. For example, if you're simply illustrating a point or bragging, that is different.
When offering analysis, explain why you made a particular decision. Often the reasoning is more important than the result.
