Sorry to post a omaha beginners question guys.

I wanted to know which hands are the best potentially in omaha, not hi/low (that is the most complicated game ive ever seen!)

I guess any hand with A and a kicker from the same suit is pretty good. Makes sense if you have the nut flush. Also i guess ant hand with a pocket pair eg 10's 2's whateva is potentially pretty good to for the boat etc.

Am i right here? im a real novice to this game but i like it so im trying to learn.
Any other hands i should watch out for?

In general In general you want good coordination between your four cards to have a good starting hand.
AAKK double suited is the best you can start with.

A hand like TsTc2d2h is not worth playing, the cards are not coordinated and the basically you are looking to hit a boat, and even if you did it is likely not a strong one.

Because of the hugh number of starting hands in omaha there is no catagorization of specific hands like you have in holdem.
The standard system to determine a starting omaha hand strength is a point system which assigns a 'grade' to the hand, and you decide from which grade you want to start playing, depending on the number of players, table fabric etc...

an example of point count system is here

Omaha is like holdem except you get six hands dealt to you. cause 4 cards can be paired 6 ways. if your hand doesn't have at least 5 decent starting holdem hands u shouldn't play it. That is as simple as it gets, though so much more complicated in pratice.

Btw i play omaha hi lo so take my advice with that in mind.
