PokerStars Weekly News Update 5/28/2012
1. Continuing the theme as being the best in the business, PokerStars was recently recognized as one of the UK's top employers. Given out by the "The Great Place to Work Institute", the competition and award is comprised of more than 5,500 organizations around the world.
2. While nothing has been confirmed, this past week rumors surfaced of tennis sensation Rafael Nadal joining Team PokerStars. The Spanish tennis pro, who has won every major title, is currently playing in the French Open this week at Roland Garros. In the past, PokerStars has sponsored the likes of Boris Becker and Frenchman Gael Monfils.
3. PokerStars is in the process of updating their software. They have been testing the software out at play-money tables on their .NET site, and could be rolling it out for real-money play soon. The new Lobby allows players to sort by stakes, game type, and buy-in amounts. Players can also click a green "Play Now" button that will instantly take them to a table at their chosen stake and buy-in amount.
