i could use some input, and i appreciate all indulgences.
have you ever been asked to verify identification and/or location by an ewallet or poker site? what ewallet or poker site? why do you think the verification was required? do you think it's random or prompted? if prompted, then by what, and how is this avoidable? if random, then how often?
basically, in my endeavors to get into US-restricted sites, i need to know exactly what kind of risk is presented by my lack of being able to 'prove' who i am since im not gonna commit a felony and falsify documents.

Yes, but not at a poker room or ewallet.

I've played at about 10 poker rooms, 60 casinos, 5 sportsbooks and use only Neteller and I only been asked to provide this information at Golden Palace Casino & Crystal Palace Casino.

every casino i visit ive been ID'ed. The exeptions are the boss media network, they havent ID'ed me for casino's yet.
B2b havent ID'ed me either.
ALL american casino's did. It didnt matter about amount deposited etc.
For poker, i was ID'ed by AP ($500 withdrawl) always by Party on first withdrawl. Never by stars, always by prima on first withdrawls, but not any longer.

I've been ID'd by epass and click2pay, but not netelelr or moneybookers.
I've been ID'd by several casinos, plus a Prima poker room, everest, and a couple cryptos. I may have missed some.
My suspicion is that the check was prompted by multiple signups in one network, or that I bonushunted, or even w/d money at all.
