With Poker Stars, can you deposit and withdraw (let's say half) and still have a chance to earn the bonus?

Just looked it up:
1 point =- $.50/$1 Limit or under-- $5 pot
Any NL or $1/$2 Limit or up -- $10 pot -- I'd guess this includes PL.
SNG's earn points too:- 5 X rake = points, then round up fractions
e.g.,
$5.50 SNG ($.50 rake) = 3 pt.
$11 SNG ($1 rake) = 5 pts
EDIT: ONE POINT FOR:
$0.50 rake for fixed limit games with stakes $0.50/$1.00 and lower
$0.75 rake for fixed limit games with stakes $1/$2
$1.00 rake for pot limit games, no limit games, and fixed limit games with stakes $2/$4 and higher

Incredible, huh?
The downfall to 'taking forever' is that PS bonuses 'stack', so if there's a future bonus with a time limit, you'd have to clear the first bonus first, while the clock is running on the second bonus. But I understand the reload %20 bonus is the only one they offer, so we're probably cool taking our time.

At .50/$1.00 limit you do not get a point for a $5.00 pot. At .50/$1.00 limit, the pot must be $10.00 to get a FPP. A $5.00 pot gets rakes .25, but it doesn't count toward clearing the bonus. The pot needs to be $10.00 to get raked .50 and get you an FPP.
This is a huge difference if you play .50/$1.00 limit. I think last night, with it being a big rock garden, I think it was close to, if not more than 10 hands to get a pot to $10.00 at .50/$1.00. I'm going to cah most of the money back out and only play there early evening and weekends, when I'm not working off a more favorable bonus.
1. Earn Points for Cash Game Play
One (1) Frequent Player Point (FPP) is awarded for playing in each raked game when the rake reaches:
$0.50 for fixed limit games with stakes $0.50/$1.00 and lower
$0.75 for fixed limit games with stakes $1/$2
$1.00 for pot limit games, no limit games, and fixed limit games with stakes $2/$4 and higher

Yea, it's not like a Party skin bonus, that's for sure. There might be a couple out there that are harder to clear, but I think this might be tougher. I say that, taking into account, the tougher play (for me anyway), compared to other sites, along with the slow clearing of the bonus. IMO, though, I do think that PokerStars does have the best MTT's out there, at a wide range of buyins. Another thing to look forward to clearing the bonus. You can take 500 of your 600FPP and get a PokerStars T-shirt to add to your poker gear wardrobe.
