I have played on many sites and discontinued going to some for various reasons. I always noticed you could only withdraw your account down to whole dollars; IE if you had $141.78 you could only withdraw $141. An annoying little tip I guess.

Today I finally tired of Absolute and decided to withdraw my remaining $39.46; imagine my surprise when I was given a dialog stating I must leave any amount under $50.00!

Has anyone else heard of this bullshit?

I would personally go on a killing spree if they ever took 5 cents from me, that's unaccaptable. But that's me, we all deal with these things differently.

Solution: Deposit $50 more into your Absolute Account. Wait their required 3 days. Then withdrawal $89.46.

They made you leave $50 behind at absolute? Are there other sites like this also? I've heard of sites not letting you cash out bonus money till a certain period, but any money that is yours or bonuses that have been cleared should not be stopped from cashing out.

I don't want to play at any site that won't let me pull my own money out. If there are others like this then someone should get a thread going letting people know which sites have f'd up cash out rules.

all of em have a minimum withdraw limit - party is 50 - absolute is 50 - pokerstars i think might be like 20 or something - all sites have this - its not like they are screwing you - just deposit enough to get over the limit then cashout like easyT said

It costs the pokersites money to give you your money back. They can't afford you withdrawing 1-2$ to play at microlimits.

EasyT:
I just instituted a better plan: played better poker for a couple hundred hands until $50.54 then cashed out. They kept the $0.54 though. I couldn't remember whether or not there were limits on other sites I have used - I haven't played online since last December; just started again this month as a result of a proposition bet; which I lost

I went back and looked at my records when I withdrew from PS; Party; UB last year. I had in excess of $100 with each at the time and they too kept the change...

I still think the limit is a rip off. If my bank did that, soon no one would put their money there either. It's another lesson in YOU MUST READ THE FINE PRINT AND ASK MORE QUESTIONS BEFORE SIGNING THE DOTTED LINE

I went back over some old records and discovered (over three sites: Party, PS, UB) for every $50.00 in net the rake was $32.00. I guess part of the answer is - try to take down smaller pots?
