Damn $300 bonus lured me back in. Their bonus clearing structure is just too much of a grind. I am done with PokerRoom after I clear this stupid bonus.

As most of you know you have to accumulate 700 player points for every $100 in bonus. So I am in the middle of clearing 2100 player points. You have to have at least a $0.50 rake to get 1/2 player point and at least $1 rake to get a full player point.

Right now I am probably averaging between 3 - 4.5 player points per 10 hands. Not good. I have been playing $100 NL, 2/4 limit and 3/6 limit.

Very frustrating. Of course now I feel obligated to clear this bonus. It isn't that I am doing poorly there or anything (**knock on wood**). The games are just plain old boring there. And grinding out these wagering requirements is a drag.

I love bonus whoring but this is horrible.

Yeah, I posted about this grind a week or two ago. Pokerroom is a piece of crap.

Its a pretty good bonus man, the play is pretty easy. I wouldn't give up. Its, what, 2100 points for $300? Thats not all that bad. I think it worked out between 8x and 10x the bonus structure. I mean, $300.....

Oh, without a doubt. I'm certainly going to finish it up. I don;t really have any trouble there. It's just a mental thing in that it takes so much longer (IMO) to clear a bonus here than anywhere else.

I'd prefer to spend my time on Party where the games are softer. So spending several days playing at a site like PokerRoom (a very mundane site) shoots up my boredom factor significantly.

But yeah, $300 is a helluva good bonus.

I can't stand Pokerroom. Couldn't even get thru the signup bonus, and I won't be back. Hate the interface, bonus is much slower and you have to play at a higher limit(NL) compared to Party's bonus. I think the site itself puts me on tilt. I'm staying away.

BTW, nice new avatar jm

Unless you play 3/6 or higher it is not worth even trying to clear the bonus. If you play this or higher then it is a great opportunity.

I play 3/6 and $100 NL there. Still slower than I care to experience.

The bonus I thought was not that bad. I 4 tabled 2/4, it was tighter than other 2/4 I had played but the bonus cleared relatively fast.

The software blows for multitabling though.
