This has perhaps been asked before so sorry if that's the case but I would be interested in knowing which site is everyone's favourite for the look and feel of the software?

Personally I think no-one beats Stars for looks but perhaps UB just beats them on feel. Overall my favourite is Stars despite the fact I virtually never play there due to the weight of other more important factors pulling me elsewhere.

Had to take Pacific and Crypto skins (Betfair, Will Hills & Intercasino etc) out of the poll as there were too many entries but I assume no-one in their right mind would vote for them!

Victor Chandler has definitely got the nicest look and feel, and the sound actually sounds like cards being dealt and chips hitting each other instead of someone tapping their fingernail on the table or all the other crappy sounds on stars/PP, unfortunately they don't have a huge number of players and no hand history support, shame.

Personally, I don't get where people think that PokerStars has the best look and feel. I wanna vomit everytime I play at one of their tables. I think it's horrid. But, I guess that's what makes the world go around right? What a bland world it would be if we all had the same views.

I voted for UB. Just have always felt that the table look and feel was the nicest. I like the option to bring your seat to the front and center. I like the look of the cards. The cards are big enough on the table. they are also huge when you have the view set to front and center. I like the layout of the buttons for each action. Colors are pleasing and you can change the background from anything to pure black to an Aruba beach setting if you like. The sounds are nice as well.

I would rate Paradise a close 2nd.

*And then BugsysClub's very own Dwarfy steps in*

Excuse me please, where is BugsysClub on that list. Anyway, I vote for that! Their software is the simplest to understand and the most easy to use.

I really think Paradise has GREAT software, now if only they had more diverse game selection and more fish...

I like UB's look also, although I do not play there (yet)

I agree. If they had more action, I would play there all the time. Also stars is very ugly and its hard to follow the action.

Couldn't fit any more options on the list so Full Tilt and Bugsy's had to go - sorry.

I agree that VC is very smooth to play and the sounds are much more tolerable than most sites. I normally turn the sound offf immediately.

I like PokerStars because the layout is so clean. The cards are easy to read and the screen is not cluttered with junk. The pictures just about everyone utilizes make it easy for me to remember players. I like the layout because I don't notice it much, I can concentrate on the game and the action.

The WORST are the Prima skins. Some of these places skin it up with the worst mixture of colors possible. It's like they just pick colors at random when they skin it. Horrible. If not for the 'mini mode' I wouldn't be able to stand playing there at all.

I really don't see a need for cartoony graphics of people and chairs and all of that other stuff. Eliminate it and make the screen smaller so I can multi table easier.

I find the PokerStars custom avatars extremely distracting. Not distracting in that it affects my game, but distracting in that I just think it looks horrible. Also, not a big fan of that tan background. What the hell is that supposed to be anyway? Looks like some sort of bad map or worn marble flooring. I dunno, just don't like it at all. Again, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that's the way that I see it.

If you are distracted by the avators on Pokerstars, they can be easily blocked. I usually block very distracting ones, but keep some up to help me remember who has been doing what (when I am too lazy to be taking good notes).

I personally loved Paradise. I initially hated PokerSharks, but I've gotten quite used to it. The avatars actually help me remember who is playing what types of hands better than name association.
