Hey guys! I'm quite new to poker and i'd like to know what's a good finish for an average player. I currently play on partypoker and pokerstars and it occured to me that the quality of player in pokerstar is much better (not to say tighter).

Well, let's take the example of the freeroll NL holdem on pokerstars. The average people in the tournament is over 10000.
Can anyone tell me what could be considered a good finish an average player?

Freerolls are probably just too funky to analyze. Play money tournaments and track your ROI (return on investment) thus:

ROI = Profit (Total Prizes - Total Buyins) / Total Buyins
