Hello everyone,
I was wondering what would be a good way to start for a guy who just started a Party Poker account with a 200$ bankroll? I'm pretty much a newbie to online poker (having played about 10 SNGs on my friend's account and doing rather well (most of them ITM) I know: ridiculous sample size here) but I ain't no newbie to NLHE (playing live games since about 2 years and being a slighty winning player). Now, I'm willing to take my online poker career quite seriously and thought that the logical first step would be to know what table to play.
So, basically: SNGs, MTT, cash games? What would you recommend? Multitabling? Give me a hint dammit
Also, on a side note, are there any programs I should get (heard about Poker tracker, is it useful?)
BTW, hooray! First post

Ok, thanks
Are the players at this level pretty bad, meaning I should be camping and betting hard when I get the goods?

Play tight, play big cards with showdown value. Get your money in on the flop. A $10 stack protects you from implied odds.

I guess it doesn't matter to be predictable?
My range would then pretty much be AQ, AK, pocket pairs (22-99 for set value) ?
Does 4XBB seem like a good PFR? (perhaps depends on the number of limpers)
Is playing low/middle suited connectors in late position recommended? (limping them I would suppose)
Interesting you're talking about implied odds with a 10$ stack. Does that mean you recommend to sit out when I double up, triple up, reach 1 million?

Nope, the play is horrible and they will put in too much money pre-flop with horrible hands without enough room to outplay you post-flop (if they could.)

EP Raise: AK/AQs/TT+
MP+ Raise: AJ+/ATs+/88+/KQ/KJs+
Limp any other pocket pair. Don't call off more than 10% of the effective stacks with one.
Don't bluff much post-flop unless you're heads-up. Learn to let it go after you miss if you only put $1 in the pot.

This should be stickied on the front page of FTR. How to beat 25NL in 4 easy steps.

They have beginners tables that you can check out too, if this is your first deposit.

If you are able to play the beginner tables then play 10NL. If you can't I would suggest waiting a little bit for party. I would play UB 10NL until you get to $500 and then go to party for 25NL and up. I don't really like buying in short.
