This is what happened:

I was waiting for a freeroll to open up for registration. It said it would start at 1am but at 1:10 am it had still not opened up. I was literally staring at the screen (yes I really wanted to play), went out to get a cup of coffee and when I came back...500 players had signed up within 1 MINUTE!. There were a total of 520 players online so in other words..ALL of them decided to sign up within that minute.

This has GOT to be impossible.....has anyone else had this happen to them?

Not sure how is the trafic on that one but from time to time I participate in the daily 5.000K freerol of Party and in the first 15 seconds of registration it's normal to see about 700 / 800 entries (usually after 5 minutes the 2.500 limit of participants is reached).

I can see that, but this was a 200 dollar free roll where the winner would have received 50 dollars or so. I would have thought that players in general would not have rushed to play in such a tourney, but I am probably wrong.

I play at RVP and its commonto see this happening in $200 freerolls, theres usually a huge rush in the first couple of minutes and the last few. I wouldn't worry about it.
