just emailed both pacific and party and was told that uncalled bets are raked. I've heard varying things about whether this is something that is fair or not...
opinions?

as long as your playing for a bonus, you probably want it to be raked - either case, there is a rake maximum per hand...I know Full Tilt doesn't even include it -
want a rake problem, try playing live 3/6 limit where they take up to $5 per freakin' pot! last place i played they took that much - crazy high rake -

By both observation and report, Pacific rakes uncalled bets and Party does not.

So uh, if you bet $100 into a $5 pot and no one calls, it is treated as a $105 pot and your $100 uncalled bet that is returned to you gets raked?
Huh?!?!

You're sarcastic, right ?
I heard a long time ago about pacific raking uncalled bets, but when I played there, I think they didnt.
Raking uncalled bets sounds like afraud to me.

Dude, that's a total rip, I don't care if you're getting 27% rake back and you've got a $100 bonus working. A TAGG player is always gonna have tons of large uncalled bets... that stinks.

That's why Pacific can keep giving away the bonuses upfront.
20x WR
5% rake
Do the math -- you are paying your own bonus in rake.

Of course, but thats the case almost everywhere execpt party, where you can fold you way to a nice profit when you clear a bonus.
