Anyone playing in ultimate bet today? I cannot connect to the server and I get a page saying "Mainscreen is off but you can look for games". I look for games and cannot connect to the server. Just wondering if this is in general.

I wish UB would post an update on their main site so that we could find out more about what's going on. I would suggest to everyone that they not play on UB for awhile until they can get some things working better again. I logged in right after they went back live very early on 3/1/06 and played for a couple of hours. However, all of my money that was at the tables is still listed as being 'at the tables' and not in my real money account even though I left the tables over 2 days ago! So I'm really waiting for them to figure that issue out. I did send an email to support and they have acknowledged it so I will post back here when they update me again.

Over the last few days we have encountered some site performance issues as we continue to tune the system. Also, some cashier functions have been performing at a much slower rate than normal.

We are working hard to resolve all of these issues and thank you for your patience as we finish this upgrade. We are currently in the process of handling your Member Services requests as quickly as possible.

got this email from UB support today:

-----------------

Dear Customer,

As you are probably aware, UB has upgraded its site. Frankly, it has not gone as well as we would have liked and certainly has impacted many of our customers in a negative way. We apologize for the inconvenience. We know that you have many questions (in fact, queries have overwhelmed our customer care center) and would like to try to answer them here.

If you have a different query than the ones below explained, please submit it again so we can further assist you.

Why have you not responded to my email query?

The recent upgrade has generated approximately 6 times our normal daily volume of email. We are backlogged in our responses, and are responding to emails on a priority and time basis. Our focus is on correcting the problems; you may find that the problem you were writing in about has been resolved as of the time of this email.

My money is locked up at a table and I can’t get at it

We have a number of tables where player funds are stuck due to a technical issue. We are working through the ‘stuck’ tables to refund players. Return of funds to your account is our number one priority!

I played in a Sit and Go that crashed and have not received a refund or chip equity

Frankly, we are having issues with reimbursing players at Sit and Go games that have crashed. Our programming team is working on correcting this issue and we expect to begin refunding shortly.

What about Scheduled Tournaments that have failed?

We have undertaken chip equity or tournament refunds for all tournaments that have failed. Our tournament refund policy can be reviewed here: http://www.ultimatebet.com/rules-str...nt_refund.html. We strongly believe that our refund policy is amongst the most equitable in the industry.

I cannot see any details in ‘My Account’

This is an unfortunate bug resulting from our upgrade. The programming team is working to correct the issue so that you can see all of your account details since the upgrade. Account statements for transactions prior to the upgrade were mailed out to all players on 1 March 2006.

I haven’t been credited any UB points for time played in February?

We have not generated any UB point credits for time played. This usually runs the second or third day of the month following. Right now, we are focusing on making sure that all players have their funds. Once we’ve established this, we’ll credit all accounts for time played. You will get credit for February time played.

Sincerely,

Marlene,
Cashier Services.

it took 10 days but i finally got the money stuck at cash game tables restored to my account this afternoon. the amount was correct, too, so i think it looks like they have a way to tell who had how much and at what table before it crashed. slowly but surely they're getting through this.
